President Tran Dai Quang to pay State visit to Japan
President Tran Dai Quang and his spouse will make a State visit to Japan from May 29th to June 2nd at the invitation of the State of Japan.

Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko will host a reception and a state banquet in honour of President Quang and his spouse. During the visit, the Vietnamese State leader will hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
This is the first State visit to Japan by President Tran Dai Quang as President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The visit takes place at a time when the Vietnam-Japan cooperative relations are in their most flourishing period ever and have achieved remarkable progress across numerous fields such as politics- economics, security-defence, culture- education, agriculture, local cooperation, labor,and people-to-people exchange, especially after the relationship between the two countries was upgraded to the level of Extensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia in 2014./.
