As a language researcher and someone directly involved in the Vietnamese business environment, I believe Vietnam's attractiveness lies not only in its GDP growth figures. The most fascinating aspect is its rare balance: a society that maintains strong political stability while simultaneously possessing remarkable dynamism. In a world facing many unpredictable changes, the consistency of Vietnamese policies and the peacefulness of Vietnamese society are invaluable intangible assets, fostering deep trust among foreign partners.

Furthermore, I want to emphasize the human element. I am in the classroom witnessing the vibrant energy and intellectual curiosity of my students: they are curious, open-minded, and quick to absorb new things. When I worked at iMarket Vietnam, my interactions with officials from the People's Committees of various provinces showed their flexibility and desire for positive change. It is this aspiration for advancement in each Vietnamese person that is the strongest "magnet" attracting attention and respect from the international community.

- The draft document for the 14th National Congress emphasizes development for the happiness of the people. In your opinion, what is the significance of this orientation in the current global context?

I appreciate the inclusion of the phrase "people's happiness" at the heart of this Congress document. This is a humane and progressive direction as the modern world is undergoing many changes and people are increasingly concerned with the actual quality of life rather than mere material indicators.

Identifying happiness as the ultimate goal of development shows that Vietnam is moving towards a sustainable society where people are at the center of all policies. I believe this is the key to creating social consensus and mobilizing the strength of national unity.

- What is your assessment of thhe Vietnam's policies on developing the private sector and improving the investment environment?

Observing the market firsthand while working as a manager at iMarket Vietnam, I noticed that Vietnam's private sector has matured remarkably. From large corporations like Vingroup to small and medium-sized enterprises, they not only contribute to the national budget but also lead innovation. The Vietnamese Party and State's recognition of the private sector as a crucial driving force of the economy is a correct step and consistent with the objective laws of development.

Regarding the investment environment, the government’s efforts toward administrative reform are increasingly evident. In my experience, the receptiveness and proactive support from local agencies have become significantly more transparent. These structural improvements provide foreign investors with the confidence and security necessary to commit to long-term operations in Vietnam.

However, I also expect that the transparency and fairness in the business environment will continue to be further strengthened. A clear and stable legal environment will be a key factor for Vietnam to attract high-quality investment flows. Then, Vietnam will not only be a destination for affordable labor but will also become a center for high-tech manufacturing and modern services in the region.

- What are your impressions of the atmosphere of Vietnam and its people leading up to the 14th National Congress?

The solemn and expectant atmosphere enveloping the city is clear. The image of the red flag with a yellow star fluttering in the streets, along with the banners and slogans at the capital. It reflected a deep sense of national pride. I noticed that Vietnamese people, from taxi drivers to university professors, were all looking forward to this event with the belief that the Congress would make groundbreaking decisions for the country's future. This atmosphere of urgent yet orderly and peaceful preparation showed the strong cohesion within society and the people's consensus on the Party's leadership role.

On a personal note, I sincerely hope the 14th National Congress will achieve brilliant success. I look forward to seeing it usher in an even more prosperous chapter for the country and the people of Vietnam - a nation that holds a very special place in my heart.

Thank you very much!
