The Viet Nam Coast Guard held a conference to review one month of implementing the high-intensity campaign aimed at strongly and decisively preventing and ending violations of illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing by fishing vessels on the afternoon of Novemver 17. Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Viet Nam People's Army and Head of the Ministry of National Defense’s Steering Committee on combating IUU fishing, attended and directed the conference.
