Six Vietnam Resorts Named Among Condé Nast Traveler's Asian Top 25

Vietnam has six representatives among the top 25 resorts in Asia in this year's annual Readers' Choice Awards voted by readers of British magazine Condé Nast Traveler.

Launched in the United States in 1987, Condé Nast Traveler is a market-leading monthly travel magazine with nine different international editions. The magazine published a list of the 25 best resorts in Asia on Oct. 5, which includes six resorts in Vietnam.

The Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running recognition of excellence in the travel industry, recognizing the world’s very best hotels, resorts, and destinations. More than 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe and sharing their opinions on the top cities, islands, hotels and resorts, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and other topics, according to VN Express.

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay

With an overall score of 99.08 out of 100, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay in the central province of Khanh Hoa ranked fifth on the list.

Overlooking Ninh Van Bay, this sophisticated spa resort is set on a rocky beach that lies 10 km from Pho Minh Temple. Featuring private plunge pools and bay views, the 1- and 2-bedroom villas have hillside or beachfront settings and include stylish bathrooms with free-standing, wooden tubs. The only way to access the resort is by boat, which takes around 20 minutes.

Azerai Can Tho resort in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho stood at 13th position with an overall score of 97.9.

Located on Au Islet, and set in the Hau River, Azerai Can Tho covers an area of over eight hectares with 60 rooms. The design is inspired by traditional architecture, achieved with a contemporary interpretation. Scattered throughout the lush landscape, the rooms open to a spacious, undercover terrace with views to gardens, the lake or the river.

Dining at Azerai Can Tho is an informal affair, either in the all-day dining Café, which offers both Asian and Continental specialties or in the specialty Grill Room. The Spa is nestled beneath the shaded canopy of banyan trees alongside the islet’s canal.

With an overall score of 96.35, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Da Nangoccupies the 20th position. The resort is honored as "The Best Resorts in Asia" by Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards 2019 and among "Top 100 Hotels in the World" by Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2019.

The resort has 201 luxurious rooms, suites, penthouses, and villas that offer views of sandy beaches and tropical forests covering Son Tra Peninsula, which acts as a natural shield for Da Nang.
