The Department of Customs reported on August 8 that in the first seven months of 2025, state budget revenue from import–export activities reached VND 261.376 trillion, equivalent to 63.6% of the annual estimate, 55.6% of the target, and up 9.1% compared to the same period in 2024.

The plummeting world crude oil prices will not have too great impact on Vietnam’s state budget revenue, said Vo Thanh Hung, head of the State Budget Department under the Ministry of Finance.
