The People's Committee of Ca Mau province has issued a Plan to disseminate and popularize civil and political rights in the province in 2025. This is a move to continue to widely disseminate the content of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and that of the Vietnamese legal system. It affirms the locality's strong commitment to ensuring human rights, while contributing to raising awareness of the rule of law in the community.

The United Nations Human Rights Committee (HRC) gathered in Geneva, Switzerland, on July 7-8 to review Vietnam’s fourth periodic report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR).
