9,950 Prisoners Granted Amnesty from June 1, 2026

The President of Vietnam has decided to grant amnesty to 9,950 prisoners currently serving prison sentences who meet the conditions stipulated by law. The decision takes effect on June 1, 2026, reaffirming the Party and State’s policy of clemency and humanitarianism while creating opportunities for those granted amnesty to reintegrate into society.
