Uzbekistan to Promote Educational Cooperation with Vietnam

At the meeting, VUFO President Nguyen Phuong Nga highly appreciated the Uzbek Ambassador to Indonesia and Vietnam and the Uzbek Embassy who dynamically and positively organized the visit to Vietnam hence promoting further cooperation between the two countries.

President Nguyen Phuong Nga noted that people-to-people exchange activities between the two countries produced great outcomes, and desired to cooperate in fostering these exchanges and promoting the cultural heritage of the two countries.

Uzbek Ambassador Ulugbek Rozukulov said he would support and create conditions for people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between Vietnam and Uzbekistan. In addition, the Ambassador hoped that the two countries would promote trade cooperation, and create more opportunities for businesses. According to the Ambassador, tourism, energy and agriculture also have great potential for Uzbekistan to promote cooperation with Vietnam.

Uzbekistan Ambassador U.Rozukulov emphasized that the central Asian nation wanted the two countries to promote educational cooperation. “About 3,000 students and PhD students have studied and worked in Uzbekistan, so we hope that in the near future, Vietnam and Uzbekistan will organize meetings between alumni, as well as organizations, which help to enhance mutual understanding, traditional education, and to foster friendship between Vietnam - Uzbekistan"- Ambassador U.Rozukulov expressed.
