The Service Department for Diplomatic Corps, in coordination with units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organized the International Culinary Culture Festival 2025 on 22-23 November in Hanoi. The event served as a cultural - diplomatic bridge where global culinary traditions meet and blend, affirming the role of cuisine in promoting international cooperation and strengthening friendship between Viet Nam and partners worldwide.

On November 24 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries held the Opening Ceremony of the 13th Viet Nam-China People’s Forum under the theme “75 Years of Viet Nam-China Friendship: Building a Stronger People-to-People Foundation”.

On November 23, thousands of people flocked to Cau Giay Park in Hanoi to take part in cultural and sports activities and visit exhibition spaces at the Vietnam – US Friendship Festival, held to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In the late 1980s, a conference at Stony Point (New York, USA) opened a new chapter in Vietnam-US humanitarian cooperation, bringing non-governmental organizations and US veterans to Vietnam to join hands in healing the wounds of war. Ha Huy Thong, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee, former Head of the Advance Delegation to Open a Liaison Office in Washington, D.C. (USA), Vice President of the Vietnam-Netherlands Friendship and Cooperation Association, Member of the Vietnam Peace and Development Council - who directly attended the conference - recounted the milestones when the first "seeds of peace" were sown with trust and goodwill between the people of the two countries.
