Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, led a delegation to the security and defence exhibition SEDEC 2022 in Ankara which took place late last month.
The SEDEC, one of the largest of its kind in Western Asia, is held biennially under the patronage of the Turkish Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB).
It embodies a conference, a trade fair and bilateral business meetings, aiming to bring international actors from the fields of Homeland Security, Border Security, Internal Security and Defence Systems together.
This year’s event saw the participation of 300 exhibitors in defence and security industries from 51 countries. It featured not only exhibitions but also symposiums in domestic security, border security, information and cyber security as well as business meetings.

Vietnam International Defence Expo 2022, which is hosted by Vietnamese Defence Ministry, will showcase means of warfare, state-of-the-art technologies and equipment serving the different military forces.
It is expected to serve as a forum for leading suppliers of defence equipment and services in the world to meet, exchange and evaluate products, technologies and introduce new defence and security solutions for Vietnam and regional countries as well./.
