Tran Tuan Anh, president of the Vietnam - Austria Friendship Association, has a meeting with Ambassador of Austria to Vietnam Philipp Agathonos to discuss plans to promote bilateral cooperation on November 26 in Hanoi.
The two sides have identified four key areas of cooperation, including culture and arts, science and technology, education as well as investment, trade, tourism.
Regarding culture and arts, the two sides will join hands to strengthen cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Austria through co-organizing concerts and art performances by artists from Vietnam and Austria.

In science and technology field, the two sides will coordinate to promote cooperation between Austrian science and technology research organizations and Vietnamese agencies such as the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and go on.
Concerning education, the two sides will promote cooperation programs between Vietnamese universities and Austrian universities; promote scholarship programs, student exchanges and support for postgraduate students.
About, investment, trade, tourism, the two sides will enhance business connections, host seminars and conferences to boost trade and develop tourism.
2025 is an important milestone, celebrating the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day and the 200th anniversary of the birth of the famous Austrian composer Johann Strauss II. On this occasion, the two sides will coordinate to promote Austrian cultural and artistic events in Vietnam in the next year with the theme "2025 - The Year of Johann Strauss II".
President Tran Tuan Anh affirmed that the Vietnam - Austria Friendship Association will continue to promote its role as a bridge, together with the Austrian Embassy, to promote increasingly deeper bilateral relations, actively contributing to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
