Previously, on June 10, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc required Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health, and Transport to consider reoperating international flight routes, need to offer right management methods and not massively reopen, reported VNExpress. The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention Control was asked to list safe travel zones which embrace countries and territories having gone through 30 days without reported infections, as well as instructed isolation for passengers upon entry.

South Korean tourists to Vietnam

Today, the representative of Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that it will run many separate trains to transport nearly 1,000 Chinese experts and workers from Huu Nghi international border gate to Dung Quat industry zone, Quang Ngai. The first train departed on June 12, transporting 137 workers from Dong Dang station (Lang Son) to Quang Ngai station.

Vietnam has suspended entry for all foreigners since March 22 to prevent the COVID-19 outbreak. Vietnam has gone 63 consecutive days without community infections. The total infections in the country have remained at 335, of which 195 were imported and quarantined upon arrival. Meanwhile, South Korea and Japan are severely affected by the COVID-19 epidemic but now, basically controlled. However, in China, a new COVID-19 cluster has been discovered in Beijing since early June, raising concerns about the second wave of outbreaks in the country.

The world has recorded nearly 8.4 million infectious cases and more than 450,000 deaths with some “hot spots” like South America and India.
