At the meeting, Tuan briefed the Nepalese guests on the founding history, principles and purposes of his association, especially its hope to build partnerships with other people’s organisations of Nepal, including the Nepal Peace and Solidarity Council, to carry out more cooperation activities to promote friendship and mutual understanding between the two peoples.

The Nepalese guests expressed their joy to travel to Vietnam to attend the 22^nd WCC Assembly, and thereby have the opportunity to discuss with the Vietnam - Nepal Friendship Association about the cooperation between the two sides.

Jiwan Prakash Sharma said that the bilateral cooperation will create very good opportunities for both sides to jointly nurture and develop the friendship between the peoples of Vietnam and Nepal.

Jiwan Prakash Sharma suggested the areas that the Vietnamese people can organise and implement in Nepal, including tourism, education- training, human resources development, herbal medicines, trade and investment.

For its part, the Nepali side will also promote activities and organise annual delegation exchanges between the two sides.

Tuan thanked and acknowledged the suggestions of Nepalese guests to organize activities in accordance with the laws of Vietnam and Nepal, thus contributing to developing friendship between the two peoples./.
