Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association in Tuyen Quang Celebrates 80th National Day

Attending the meeting were representatives from the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Internal Political Protection under the provincial Police, Tan Trao University, the Tuyen Quang Union of Friendship Organizations, along with numerous association members.
During the ceremony, delegates reflected on the nation’s heroic history and the remarkable achievements made over 80 years of building and defending the Fatherland. They emphasized the enduring spirit of solidarity and the profound sacrifices of past generations, while also reaffirming the strong and multifaceted friendship between Vietnam and Thailand. This relationship continues to foster cooperation and deepen people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.
In 2025, the provincial Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association prioritized organizational strengthening and member development. It actively mobilized overseas Vietnamese to uphold the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies. The Association also organized various exchange activities, conducted visits, and presented gifts to members facing hardship and to families with meritorious service, while maintaining active participation in major local events.

In the time ahead, the Association will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and the deep connection of overseas Vietnamese to their homeland. It will strengthen people-to-people diplomacy and foster friendly exchanges with the Thailand–Vietnam Friendship Association. A series of activities will be organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand (August 6, 1976 – August 6, 2026). The Association will also mobilize efforts to ensure the strict implementation of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws, actively contribute to socio-economic development, and help build a more prosperous and civilized Tuyen Quang.
The ceremony was held in a solemn yet warm atmosphere, featuring outstanding performances that conveyed national pride and hopes for the enduring and sustainable development of the Vietnam-Thailand friendship.
