The passing of the Queen Mother is an immeasurable loss. Though she has departed for eternity, her legacy - reflected in her humanitarian work, community development efforts, preservation of Thai culture, and her deep affection and companionship with the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej - will endure forever.

We express our profound respect for the Queen Mother and sincerely pray for her peaceful rest and eternal blessing. We also wish peace and strength to the people of Thailand, whose friendship and compassion have always been a solid foundation for the warm relations between the peoples of Vietnam and Thailand.”

Queen Mother Sirikit of Thailand passed away on October 24 at the age of 93. King Vajiralongkorn has issued a royal decree declaring a one-year mourning period in her remembrance.

The Queen Mother was deeply revered by the Thai people for dedicating her life to their well-being, promoting rural development, empowering women, and preserving Thailand’s traditional arts and crafts.
