Vietnamese in Thailand Stand Ready to Join National Efforts Toward Vietnam’s Development Goals

As the entire country looks toward the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese community in Thailand has expressed deep interest and strong confidence in the nation’s strategic orientations, while reaffirming its desire to continue making active contributions to national construction and development in the new period.

Overseas Vietnamese Community Congratulates Successful Conclusion of 14th National Party Congress

According to representatives of the overseas Vietnamese community in Thailand, the 14th National Party Congress holds special significance, marking a new stage in the country’s development after nearly 40 years of Renewal (Doi moi). It provides an important opportunity to review practical experience and formulate long-term development strategies, with the aim of building a Vietnam that develops rapidly and sustainably and attains an increasingly prominent position in the international arena.

Speaking to the press, Nguyen Van Xuyen, Head of the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site in Nakhon Phanom Province, said that the Vietnamese community in Thailand always closely follows developments at home, especially major guidelines and policies of the Party and the State. The community believes that the 14th National Party Congress will adopt important decisions that will create strong momentum for the country’s comprehensive development in the coming period.

Overseas Vietnamese in Thailand have expressed their hope that the Party and the State will continue to pay attention to and further improve policies toward Vietnamese living abroad, creating favorable conditions for them to stabilize their lives, integrate well into host societies, while preserving national cultural identity, the Vietnamese language, and traditions of attachment to their roots.

At the same time, the Vietnamese community in Thailand has affirmed its readiness to contribute resources in terms of knowledge, experience, economic capacity, and people-to-people foreign relations, helping to promote the image of the country, foster Vietnam-Thailand friendly cooperation, and strengthen the bond between overseas Vietnamese and their homeland.

At present, the Vietnamese community in Thailand is one of the largest and well-organized overseas Vietnamese communities, actively engaged in various fields such as economic activities, culture, education, and charity. Through their associations and organizations, overseas Vietnamese not only preserve their national identity but also serve as an important bridge of friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

With firm confidence in the Party’s leadership and the country’s future development, overseas Vietnamese in Thailand have affirmed that they will continue to stand side by side with the nation, joining efforts to successfully realize development goals through 2030, with a vision toward 2045, thereby contributing to the building of a more prosperous, strong, and deeply integrated Vietnam in the world.
