On the occasion of the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-May 19, 2026) and the 37th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Brazil (May 8, 1989-May 8, 2026), the Vietnamese Embassy in Brazil, in coordination with the Brazil-Vietnam Friendship Association (ABRAVIET) and local authorities, organized a series of activities to commemorate and honor the life, career, and ideological legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. These activities also contributed to strengthening people-to-people exchanges and deepening the friendship between the two countries.

As part of the state visit to the Republic of India, on the evening of May 5, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam and the high-level Vietnamese delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy in India and met with embassy officials, staff members, and the Vietnamese community in the country.

On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), from April 26 to May 3, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union chapter and the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Saint Petersburg successfully organized the 2026 Vietnamese Student Sports Festival in Saint Petersburg, leaving many notable impressions.

On May 2, at the Concord Oval Recreation Centre in New South Wales, Australia, a sports festival for the Vietnamese student community took place in a vibrant atmosphere, marking the conclusion of a large-scale series of sporting activities for Vietnamese students across Australia.
