Vietnamese Students Achieve High Results in International Research Competition

At the 4th International Research Competition for Young Scientists (IRCYS) in 2023 held in Bali, Indonesia, two teams of Vietnamese students won a Silver medal and a Bronze medal.
Team Vietnam 1, which won the Silver medal included students Le Tran Phuong Uyen (Phenikaa School), Mai Xuan Khoi (Vietnam Australia International School), Nguyen Huu An Nguyen (SenTia School), Giang Vinh Loc (Hanoi – Amsterdam Highschool for the Gifted), Dam Duc Huy (Phan Dinh Phung High School, Hanoi).
Team Vietnam 2, which won the Bronze medal included students Nguyen Hiep Khoi (Vinschool Times City Secondary School), Nguyen Huu Dinh Son (Brighton College Vietnam), Nguyen Bao Linh (Alexandre Yersin French School), Nguyen Anh Thu (HNUE High School for Gifted Students).
The International Research Competition for Young Scientists is an annual competition, that creates a scientific research opportunity for high school and university students from countries around the world. This year, the competition is held in Bali, Indonesia from October 19 to 22, 2023.
Participating in the competition helps students gain experience in scientific research. It also helps them develop and practice creative thinking skills, work effectively in groups, and develop and practice soft skills including presentation skills to defend their research topic.
