This is one of the world's most prestigious international forums, bringing together women leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, representatives of international organizations, and scholars from many countries to exchange ideas and solutions for enhancing the role of women in economic and social development.
During the conference, delegates participated in a series of thematic discussions on economic growth, innovation, digital transformation, sustainable development, women's leadership in the modern era, and solutions to strengthen the position of women in socio-economic life.
One of the Vietnamese delegation’s notable highlights at this year's conference was that Dr. Phan Bich Thien, President of the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe, was invited by the organizers to attend the Bell Ringing Ceremony at the Istanbul Stock Exchange, alongside leaders of the Global Summit of Women and representatives of outstanding organizations and businesses from around the world.

The Bell Ringing Ceremony is a symbolic event held at many major stock exchanges around the world to recognize and celebrate the role of women in economic development, promote gender equality, and enhance women's participation in leadership and corporate governance positions. The invitation extended to a representative of the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe to take part in this special event is a meaningful recognition of the efforts and contributions of the overseas Vietnamese women’s community in building networks, fostering international cooperation, and contributing to social development.

At the opening ceremony, Irene Natividad, President of the Summit, warmly acknowledged the valuable contributions of Vietnamese women in general and the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe in particular throughout previous editions of the conference. Over the years, the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe has continuously expanded its efforts to strengthen community connections, promote a positive business culture, preserve Vietnamese cultural identity, and enhance initiatives directed toward the homeland. Through its network of members across numerous European countries, the Forum has carried out many meaningful activities aimed at advancing people-to-people diplomacy, fostering cooperation, and promoting Vietnam’s image on the global stage.
The presence of the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe delegation in Istanbul not only represented the Vietnamese women’s community abroad, but also helped project the image of a dynamic, integrated, and developing Vietnam - one that consistently values and promotes the role of women in the nation’s development and progress.
