Workshop Highlights Women’s Role in Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction

On May 20 in Quang Tri, the Quang Tri Department of Health, in collaboration with the Quang Tri Department of Education and Training and World Vision International in Vietnam, organized the School Nutrition Event within the framework of the ENOUGH Initiative - Complete Nutrition, under the message: “Investing in school nutrition is investing in the future.” Beyond the issue of school lunch programs, the event raised a broader question: How can children, especially those in remote areas and ethnic communities, gain access to adequate nutrition, food safety, and a healthy learning environment from an early age?

On the morning of May 18, at the headquarters of the Korea Chamber of Business in Vietnam (KOCHAM) in Hanoi, KOCHAM and Good Neighbors International (GNI) in Vietnam officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new milestone in their strategic partnership aimed at promoting corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and strengthening connections between the RoK business community and local communities in Vietnam.

On May 18, 2026, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Vietnam held a meeting and congratulatory ceremony for the team from Lac Hong University (LHU) in recognition of their outstanding achievement in winning the Silver Award at the Global Best M-Gov Award 2026 - a prestigious international award in the field of digital government technology and innovation.

The People’s Committee of Sin Ho Commune in Lai Chau Province, in coordination with Plan International Japan and Plan International Vietnam, held an inauguration ceremony for a new student boarding facility at Phang So Lin Semi-Boarding Primary School on the morning of May 13. The project was built with financial support from the people of Japan through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
