The Conference is an important event that contributes to strengthening and expanding cooperative relations between Vietnam and foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as well as development partners, toward the goal of sustainable national development. The Conference will focus on assessing the outcomes of the partnership between Vietnam and foreign NGOs during the 2019-2025 period; identifying directions for cooperation and improving aid effectiveness over the next five years; and formulating recommendations and proposals to the Government and the Prime Minister to further enhance Vietnam’s partnerships with foreign NGOs, donors, and international enterprises in the coming period.
The Conference will include a plenary opening session, four parallel thematic workshops on key areas of shared interest between Vietnam and foreign NGOs, and a concluding and closing session. Within the framework of the Conference, the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organization Affairs will hold a Ceremony to acknowledge the contributions of foreign NGOs and development partners to Vietnam’s socio-economic development.

The Conference will be attended by approximately 700 delegates, including representatives of foreign NGOs, international organizations, embassies, development cooperation agencies, and foreign enterprises; as well as representatives from Vietnamese ministries, sectors, localities, social organizations, and research institutes.
