69th Anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day Marked in Poland
A ceremony was organized to mark the 69th anniversary of Hanoi Capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – 2023) by the Ha Thanh Club and Overseas Vietnamese Community in Poland in Warsaw.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Nguyen Hung and his wife along with a number of officials of the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland, representatives of community organizations, companies, and people who love Hanoi in Warsaw and Łodz city attended the ceremony with club members.

The ceremony included various special activities such as recreating typical images of Hanoi such as cyclos, flower vendors, sidewalk cafes, and areas selling Hanoi dishes. Women in colorful traditional ao dai excitedly took souvenir photos next to symbols of Hanoi's thousand years of culture.
At the ceremony, the President of the club, Kim Dung, reviewed the glorious history of the capital Hanoi on its liberation day 69 years ago. She also reviewed the club's activities in the past as well as its direction in the future.
Since its establishment, the club has always actively participated in cultural, artistic, sports, charity, and spiritual activities, organized by the Vietnamese Community in Poland. In the coming time, the club will also always accompany the work of the Vietnamese community in Poland to unite the community, towards the homeland.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Hung praised the club's activities in recent times. The ambassador wished the club to always unite, help, and support each other and congratulated the club on its 10th anniversary.
This year's performance includes the participation of members of the Elderly Association and community singers in musical performances about Hanoi.
