Since joining ASEAN in 1995, Vietnam has undergone a remarkable transformation to become an indispensable link in the global supply chain by investing heavily in export-oriented industries and maintaining robust social stability.

As a country that attracts the attention and engagement of most major powers, one of Vietnam’s key challenges is to demonstrate its ability to maintain a balanced approach in relations with these partners, said Claude Blanchemaison, former French Ambassador to Vietnam.

On January 20, the website of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (kprf.ru) and the online edition of Rossiyskaya Gazeta (rg.ru) - the official newspaper of the Russian Government, published articles analyzing and assessing the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (the 14th Congress). The articles underscored Vietnam’s strong determination to transform itself in a new phase of development, with a consistent orientation of placing the People as the foundation, the subject, and the center of development.

Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan said the Politburo's Resolution No. 72 provides a breakthrough orientation for the protection, care and improvement of the people’s health. It places the people’s health at the centre of all healthcare policies and services, while aiming to address long-standing bottlenecks in the health sector that have yet to be fundamentally resolved.
