89th Academy Awards to take place on February 26th, 2017
The 89th Academy Awards ceremony (commonly referred to as the Oscars) is scheduled to take place on February 26th, 2017, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood, Los Angeles, according to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
The 89th Academy Awards ceremony (commonly referred to as the Oscars) is scheduled to take place on February 26th, 2017, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood, Los Angeles, according to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). 
During the ceremony, the AMPAS will present Academy Awards in 24 categories. Nominations for the 89th Academy Awards will be announced 33 days before Oscar, on January 24th, 2017.
The 89th Academy Awards will be televised live by the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide./.
