The health check took place in the framework of "Care to Rise," which aims to provide health care and education for children who suffer difficulties due to Covid-19, children of poor families in Ho Chi Minh City.
The examination was carried out under strict and scientific supervision to ensure that children receive general examinations, eye, ear, nose, and throat tests, as well as maxillofacial, musculoskeletal, and psychological health assessments.
Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital creates medical data for children to long-term monitoring to promptly provide physical and mental support. In case the disease is detected, the "Care to Rise" program covers the treatment costs at the Children's Hospital.

Rad Kivette, VinaCapital Foundation's CEO said: "Ensuring the rights and development of children, especially children in difficult circumstances, is always our top focus. VCF is committed to continuing to bring better health care and education services to disadvantaged children in Vietnam so that no child is left behind.”
The "Care to Rise" program has been implemented by VCF and Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union since November 2021. The program aims to support, protect, and empower more than 2,300 children orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City. The program includes three phases. Phase 1 completed 1,924 detailed surveys to evaluate each child. Phase 2 provides medical treatment support, which was implemented in 2022. Phase 3 offers long-term care with medical and educational services to children, while expanding support for children who have difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City.
