Budget carrier increases flights on domestic routes during national holiday
The budget carrier Vietjet Air has said it would increase frequency on regular flights to meet increased travel demand during the holiday of National Liberation and International Labor Day from April 28th to May 4th, 2016.

Accordingly, during the period, total flights of the airline will increase by 246 flights a day, a 66% rise over a year earlier.
Routes seeing the biggest frequency increase are Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city – Da Nang (14 return flights per day, up four), HCM city – Phu Quoc (seven return flights per day, up two), Hanoi - Phu Quoc (four return flights per day, up two) and Hanoi – Da Nang (10 flights per day, up two).
Frequency of other flights also increased sharply compared to the same period last year, including HCM city - Hanoi (21 daily flights), HCM city - Hue (five daily flights), HCM city - Vinh (six daily flights), HCM city - Hai Phong (six-seven daily flights), HCM city - Thanh Hoa (three daily flights), Hanoi - Cam Ranh (five daily return flights) and Hanoi - Da Lat (three daily return flights).
Other routes from or to Chu Lai, Quy Nhon, Buon Ma Thuot and Pleiku will be added flights to serve the travel demand of people./.
