Clean Water Filtration Systems Donated to Support Children in Ben Tre Province
With support from HSBC Vietnam, the Clean Water program installed three clean water filtration systems at An Ngai Trung Primary School, Phuoc Ngai Primary School, and My Chanh Primary School in Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province. These systems will provide clean, safe drinking water to 1,946 children and 124 teachers, and is especially relevant during the months when saltwater intrusion is most dangerous.

On August 24, 2024, HSBC Vietnam and VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) handed over three (03) clean water filtration systems to three (03) primary schools in Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province. This initiative, made possible by HSBC Vietnam’s donation to VCF’s Clean Water program, will provide safe drinking water to disadvantaged children, improve sanitation, and enhance the overall health of the local population. In addition to donating three water filtration systems, leaders and staff of HSBC Vietnam also interacted with the students and carried out activities such as painting murals, repainting fences, and planting flowers at An Ngai Trung Primary School to help beautify the school and create a more vibrant and cheerful learning environment for the children. |
