Speaking at the event, Vanessa Steinmetz, Country Director of FNF Vietnam, stated that over the years, FNF has been a partner of Vietnam in the fields of innovation, governance, economic competitiveness, and sustainable development. Through cooperation with Vietnamese partners, the organization has implemented numerous projects such as the Vietnam Annual Economic Report in collaboration with the University of Economics under Vietnam National University, Hanoi; joint initiatives with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to improve the business environment and promote fair competition for small and medium-sized enterprises; and women’s empowerment projects with the Center for Women and Development (CWD), helping enhance digital and communication skills for women entrepreneurs.

According to Steinmetz, these initiatives have transformed policy dialogue into concrete actions, bringing tangible benefits to the Vietnamese community and business sector.

Throughout its presence in Vietnam, FNF has cooperated with local authorities across various provinces and cities, contributing to policy discussions on economic and legal reform as well as sustainable urban development. Ms. Steinmetz emphasized that although FNF is concluding its operations in Vietnam, the publications, projects, and partnerships established over the years will remain a foundation for continued dialogue and cooperation in the future.
