Less than one day after its first relief mission transporting rescue personnel and aid to Venezuela, Vietnam's national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, operated a second special flight on the night of June 29, delivering an additional 46.8 tons of humanitarian supplies to ensure uninterrupted relief efforts following the disaster.

Flight VN68, operated by a wide-body Airbus A350, departed from Noi Bai International Airport at 11:30 p.m. on June 29. After a technical stop at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in France, the aircraft continued to Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas, completing the nearly 24-hour journey from Vietnam to Venezuela.

Earlier, the national carrier operated its first special flight carrying 124 personnel from Vietnam's Ministry of National Defense and Ministry of Public Security, along with 10 rescue dogs and 25 tons of rescue equipment, to Venezuela. Immediately after that flight departed, the airline's flight operations, engineering, dispatch, and ground service teams began preparing the second mission, ensuring that the 46.8 tons of relief supplies were transported on schedule.

With the completion of these two special flights, Vietnam Airlines has successfully delivered both Vietnamese rescue personnel and humanitarian aid to Venezuela, helping ensure a timely response to the aftermath of the earthquake.
