She further noted that President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on international solidarity not only contributed to the success of Vietnam’s revolution but also spread profound humanistic values across the world. He consistently treasured the friendship between the Vietnamese people and international friends, especially highlighting the solidarity among women in progressive countries as one of the essential foundations for building a peaceful, just, and compassionate world.

Responding to her remarks, Annet Baingana, spouse of the Ambassador of Rwanda and President of the GCCM, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Vietnamese Embassy for its thoughtful, dignified, and meaningful preparation of the event. Madam Baingana shared her deep admiration for the resilience, kindness, and extraordinary strength of Vietnamese women, who are not only resourceful and creative but also courageous and determined in life.

She affirmed that such spirit stands as a testament to the strength and role of women worldwide. Women, regardless of their nationality, can be sources of inspiration and bonds that connect peace and friendship among nations. “We must continue to stand together, share with one another, and spread positive values so that the world becomes more equal and humane,” she said.

On this occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi extended his warmest and most respectful congratulations to the spouses of ambassadors and international friends attending the event. He affirmed:

“President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on women and international solidarity are not only of historical significance but also hold profound contemporary relevance. Ambassador Bui Van Nghi also expressed his hope that the friendship between Vietnam and other countries, along with the bonds among the spouses in the diplomatic community of Brasília, would continue to be strengthened and sustainably developed in the years to come.

As part of the event, the Vietnamese Embassy organized an exhibition featuring photos of President Ho Chi Minh, and introduced Vietnam’s landscapes, people, and culture to international friends. Participants also had the opportunity to take part in a traditional Vietnamese spring roll-making class, enjoy floral arrangement activities, and receive souvenir gifts, processed agricultural products from women-led enterprises showcasing the distinctive identity of Vietnam.
