The project, “Improving the Quality of Life for People with Disabilities in Quang Tri”, has a total non-refundable grant of 100,000 CHF, equivalent to over 2.8 billion VND. It will be implemented in Quang Tri and is scheduled to run until the end of February 2026.

Key project activities include: installing solar power systems at two care centers for people with disabilities and Agent Orange victims; providing livelihood development support packages to 12 households with persons with disabilities; and renovating housing to improve accessibility for 10 such households.
In addition, the project will support the compilation, printing, and community application of a psychological support handbook for people with disabilities. It will also organize communication events to raise public awareness on psychological issues and other matters related to people with disabilities.
Overall, the project aims to enhance the quality of life, promote economic self-reliance, improve accessibility, and support independent living for people with disabilities in Quang Tri by installing solar power systems at care centers, providing livelihood interventions, upgrading accessible housing, and offering psychological support.
