According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in the RoK, at the roundtable, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan highlighted the locality's potential and advantages while introducing the province's development orientations in the coming years in key sectors such as renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, processing industries, logistics, the entertainment industry, eco-tourism, resort tourism, and marine tourism.

Chairman Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that Gia Lai now possesses the combined advantages of both the South Central Coast and the Central Highlands regions. With an increasingly developed transportation infrastructure system, including an airport, seaport, and highly connected expressways, together with the country's second-largest natural land area, the province still has significant room for strong cooperative development in the future.

Over the years, the RoK has consistently been one of the most important partners of Vietnam in general and Gia Lai Province in particular in the fields of investment, trade, tourism, industry, services, and people-to-people exchanges. During this working visit, the Gia Lai delegation has been making efforts to attract businesses interested in investing in the province's key sectors. Gia Lai is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for investors and accompanying them throughout the process of project research, implementation, and operation.

Overview of the roundtable.

In his remarks at the roundtable, KOVECA Chairman Kwon Sung Tack emphasized that Gia Lai, following its merger, possesses substantial potential. With favorable climatic and soil conditions, Gia Lai has great potential for developing high-tech agriculture, large-scale livestock farming, tourism, clean energy, and other sectors. The participation of the Gia Lai delegation in direct discussions with investors provides an excellent opportunity for all parties to understand each other's needs better and cooperate in identifying suitable investment projects and technologies.

At the roundtable, RoK's enterprises introduced advanced technologies and systems, including independent clean energy supply and storage systems that operate separately from the national power grid, clean-energy propulsion systems for vessels, and a project to establish a Korea-Vietnam International School in Gia Lai to attract and train international students.

RoK's businesses expressed strong interest in the sectors introduced by Gia Lai Province, noting that these industries offer considerable potential and align with the future investment orientations of the RoK's business community in Vietnam. Accordingly, Gia Lai's provincial leaders proposed that all parties continue in-depth information exchanges and strengthen connections at the earliest opportunity.
