GNI Distributes Annual Gifts to Over 2,100 Sponsored Children in Thanh Hoa

The 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 term will take place in Hanoi from June 3-5 amid the country’s ongoing efforts to advance digital transformation, deepen international integration, and build new productive forces. With a strong emphasis on organizational reform, innovation in operational methods, and improving the quality of trade union personnel, the Congress is expected to usher in a new phase of development for the Trade Union organization, enabling it to better accompany, represent, and protect workers’ rights and interests.

From May 27-30, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Vietnam, in coordination with the Vietnam Disaster and Dyke Management Authority (VDDMA) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, organized a series of training sessions and disaster response drills in Cat Tien and Ngo May communes, Gia Lai Province, to strengthen community preparedness and response capacity.

From May 30-31, 2026, the program “Compassionate onnection Day for Children” was held at the Hanoi Children's Palace, 17 Pham Hung Street, Hanoi, featuring a wide range of meaningful activities for children with disabilities and children facing especially difficult circumstances.

From the 1st National Congress in 1988 to the 8th National Congress for the 2023-2028 term, the National Congresses of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union have not only marked the growth and maturity of the Union itself but have also vividly reflected the increasingly important role of the peasantry in the country’s renewal process, agricultural development, new-style rural development, and international integration.
