GNI Supports More than USD 1.9 Million for Children and People of Cu Chi

The project aims to contribute to improving the quality of life of local children and people. The project will be implemented in the period 2023-2027 with a budget of more than USD 1.9 million provided by GNI (South Korea) to the Cu Chi district People's Committee in Trung An commune and Binh My commune.
Outstanding activities of the project include children in difficult circumstances in some areas having access to high-quality care, protection, and education services; developing livelihood activities to improve household income; and enhancing economic resilience for people facing difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Cu Chi District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hang requested that the District Project Management Board be responsible for coordinating with the GNI to develop quarterly activity plans and organize the management and administration of projects’ activities to ensure accuracy and transparency in accordance with Vietnamese law.
At the same time, during the implementation process, if new content that has not been regulated arises, the two sides need to discuss and agree on the optimal solution before implementation.
Vice Chairwoman of Cu Chi District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hang also assessed that the project contributes to improving the quality of life of local children and people. “This will be the first step to open up more opportunities for cooperation between the parties in the future to bring meaningful values to the community”, said Nguyen Thi Hang.
