(VNF) - To develop transport infrastructure for the 2016-2020 period, Ho Chi Minh City needs more VND137 trillion.
HCMC needs more VND137 trillion to build transport infrastructure for the 2016-2020 period
HCMC People’s Committee has submitted to the Ministry of Planning and Investment on capital requirement for transport infrastructure projects for the 2016-2020 period.
The prior projects are Monorail route No.3, Highway 22 expansion, overhead road No.5, Metro rail system line #1, the second city environmental sanitation.
Specially, the Monorail route project, from the intersection of Phan Van Tri – Nguyen Oanh (Go Vap district) to Tan Chanh Hiep station (12 district), has an estimated capital of 8.400 billion VND. The project to expand Highway 22 has a total investment capital of 12.850 billion,
In addition, other important project, such as the second city environmental sanitation project has a total investment of 11.000 billion VND; Metro rail system project line #1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien) has a total investment of 47.000 billion VND; Metro rail line #2 (Ben Thanh – Tham Luong) with over 26.000 billion.
The project to improve the city’s water environment in the basin Tau Hu – Ben Nghe – Kenh Doi – Kenh Te (phase 2) with total investment of 11.000 billion VND is being implemented./.
