Hung Yen provincial Party Congress results disseminated
The Hung Yen Party Committee Commission for Popularization and Education on November 11th held a meeting to disseminate the results of the 18th provincial Party Congress for the 2015-2020 tenure among its staff.

Accordingly, the Congress which lasted from October 31st to November 2nd, elected 53 members to the Party Executive Committee and 14 members to the Party Standing Board. Do Tien Sy was re-elected as Secretary of the provincial Party Committee.
The adopted resolution during the Congress featured the targets of increasing the building of a pure and strong Party Committee; promoting all resources and general strength of the people; paying attention to social and cultural development; maintaining national defence and security; enhancing the prevention of corruption; ensuring social welfare and improving people’s spiritual and material lives, making a basic foundation to build Hung Yen into an industrialised province.
The resolution identified breakthroughs in the next 5 years which focuses on attracting investment and developing the hi-tech industry sector as well as high value-added goods and development of modern industry; mobilising resources for building the socio-economic infrastructure; and better planning of personnel work./.
