Indochina's biggest ancient artillery battle in Vung Tau
Nui Lon (the big mountain), also known as Tuong Ky, is a 245m high mountain located in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, where the largest ancient artillery battle in Indochina was built over 100 years ago.

The cannons were made of steel. Each had three parts: the barrel, the bracket, and the rotating wheel. The gun barrel is longer than 4m, the bracket allows to raise or lower the range, the rotating wheel allows the gun to rotate on the concrete base. (Photo: VOV) |
