For Babette, this is far more than a trip - it is a return to a land where part of her childhood memories, closely intertwined with her beloved godfather, are kept.

The People’s Committee of Can Tho City has issued a decision approving the non-project document for a humanitarian program providing medical and dental check-ups and treatments, scholarships, gifts, and wheelchairs for students and people with disabilities. The program is funded by Project Vietnam Foundation (PVF), a US-based organization.

After more than half a century, these photos stand not only as historical marks but also as a bridge connecting the past with the present, of which the initiator and persistent builder is Alisher Rustamovich Mukhamedov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan-Vietnam Friendship Association, a special friend of Vietnam.
