Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai has signed Directive No. 45-CT/TU of the Standing Board of the Hanoi Party Committee on “Strengthening People-to-People Diplomacy of the Capital City of Hanoi until 2030, with a Vision to 2045.”

Hailing the sector’s outstanding achievements and contributions, Party General Secretary To Lam stressed that the Vietnamese diplomatic service is now facing a historic mission. He called on the sector to focus on building a comprehensive, modern, and professional diplomacy imbued with Vietnamese identity; ensuring comprehensiveness across all three pillars of Party diplomacy, State diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy; closely integrating diplomacy with national defence, security, economy, science and technology, culture, and foreign service information; and modernising itself in terms of mindset, methods, and tools.

Hanoi is welcoming a large number of domestic and international visitors these days. Many foreign tourists have expressed their admiration for the vibrant colors, solemn and sacred atmosphere of the capital as it prepares to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

From 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2, Hanoi will organize fireworks displays at six locations to celebrate the National Day, including a total of 3,600 high-altitude fireworks and 540 low-altitude racks.
