Japan holds festival for 300 Vietnamese interns and engineers
Over 300 Vietnamese interns, engineers and Japanese colleagues on October 20 attended the first Vietnamese festival in Yamanashi province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Takeshi Ikai, Chief Executive Officer, General Director of Ikai Group highlighted the role of the festival in enhancing the bonds between Vietnamese interns, engineers and their Japanese colleagues. He also expressed thank to the Vietnamese workers for their contribution to the development of Ikai group in recent time.
For his part, Phan Tien Hoang, representative of the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, the Invalid and Social Affairs spoke highly of Ikai Group’s efforts in ensuring materialistic and mental life for Vietnamese interns and engineers. He stated that the festival was a great chance for Vietnamese workers to learn about the traditional culture of Japan as well as their local colleagues, contributing to strengthening mutual understandings between two countries’ peoples.
On this occasion, representative of MOLISA in Japan also reminded the Vietnamese workers to comply with the company’s labour disciplines, the country’s law and relentlessly acquire advanced science – technology of Japan.

Talking to the Vietnam News, Tran Van Nam, an intern from Ha Tinh province extended his thanks to the help and attention of Ikai group’s leaders to Vietnamese labours, and affirmed their commitment to improving their performance, to contribute to the growth of the group.
As part of the festival, Vietnamese workers and Japanese colleagues took part in exciting games and enjoy Japanese cuisines.
Founded in 1970, Ikai Group is a conglomerate, working in the fields of mechanism, electricity, electronic, pharmaceutical, industrial chemicals. Ikai Group begins to recruit Vietnamese interns in 2015. At the moment, there are around 236 interns and engineers working in this group’s subsidiaries.
