Connecting Vietnamese Students in the Republic of Korea with Businesses
The event was held under the support of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea, in coordination with partners and businesses, with the aim of creating a direct bridge between students and employers, while helping companies access a young workforce capable of adapting to a multicultural environment.
Speaking at the event, a representative of the Embassy of Vietnam in the Republic of Korea highly appreciated the significance of the activity, noting that it serves as a practical channel linking education and the labor market, thereby contributing to the promotion of people-to-people exchanges and human resources cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea as bilateral relations continue to develop positively.

According to the Vietnamese Students’ Association in the Republic of Korea, although Vietnamese students are highly regarded for their capabilities and strong drive for self-improvement, they still face numerous challenges in the job search process, particularly due to limited practical experience, language skills, and differences in workplace culture. The Job Fair is expected to help remove these barriers through career counseling, guidance on improving application materials, and direct recruitment connections.
Within the framework of the program, participating enterprises introduced their recruitment needs, shared information about the labor market, and conducted on-site interviews. In addition, the “Vietnamese students’ startup ideas in the Republic of Korea 2026” competition was launched to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship within the student community.
According to the organizing committee, with approximately 100,000 Vietnamese students currently studying in the Republic of Korea, the demand for career orientation and employment connections is steadily increasing. Activities such as the Job Fair are considered practical solutions to enhance the quality of human resources while reinforcing the role of the Vietnamese community in promoting cooperative relations between the two countries.
The maintenance and expansion of student-business networking activities abroad reflect a growing trend of aligning education with labor market demands, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy and human resources development cooperation in the context of international integration.
