On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the Lao National Day, the Lao Embassy in Vietnam has received many congratulations from the agencies, ministries, departments, and branches of Vietnam.
On this occasion, the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam has launched an initiative to “turn” congratulatory flowers into presents for people in Central Vietnam who have been recently affected by storms and floods.
Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Sengphet Houngboungnuang said that to share with the difficulties and losses that people in Central Vietnam have suffered recently, the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam exchanged views with the Vietnamese authorities and suggested it "turn" congratulatory flowers into gifts to help central people to surmount difficulties and stabilize life. The idea got enthusiastic support from the Vietnamese side.
Responding to the Lao Embassy’s initiative, on the afternoon of December 2, the delegation of Vietnam Times magazine led by Deputy Editor-in-Chief Pham Dinh Hai visited and congratulated the Embassy of Laos in Vietnam and contributed a small part to the aforementioned meaningful activity.
