Many honored guests of the opening ceremony congratulated the opening of the language course.
"I have 10-year experience teaching in Vietnam and I am very fortunate to continue this noble work of teaching the second and third generation of Vietnam in Japan. I would like to thank the organizing committee for establishing this course," said Ngo Thi Dan, a Vietnamese teacher in the program.
The President of the Vietnamese Association in Kansai Le Thuong also stressed the role of parents who brought their children to Vietnamese classes. Thuong encourages everyone to participate in maintaining and developing the Vietnamese language and Vietnamese culture by joining these meaningful activities.
"With the enthusiasm of the teachers, the cooperation of the family, and the support of the authorities, the work of language and cultural education will achieve good results," exclaims Thuong.
Students of this course are the next generation in charge of a patriotic, united, and developed Vietnamese community in Japan so the lessons were designed by the Japan-Vietnam Support Association and Vietnamese teachers after much consideration.
Vietnamese language and culture will be taught through various forms such as dancing, singing, folk games, and visiting cultural places in Vietnam.
