| From December 18–20, 2024, the project "Early Recovery Support for Communities Affected by Typhoon Yagi in Ha Giang," funded by the European Union's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department (ECHO), carried out essential relief activities in Hoang Su Phi District. In coordination with the district’s project management board, local authorities from Chien Pho, Po Lo, and Tung San communes, and commune-level People’s Committees, Plan International Vietnam distributed household hygiene packages; personal hygiene packages for girls, and educational supplies packages. The total value of these support packages amounts to VND 1.2 billion. |

Relentless Search to Bring the Fallen Home
By August 13, the forces involved had searched for and recovered the remains of 1,715 fallen soldiers, achieving 24.5% of the target. Of these, 691 sets of remains were recovered domestically, 174 in Laos, and 850 in Cambodia.
