South central region may face another typhoon
The southern central region already seriously hit by typhoon Toraji is forecasted to face another storm.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorology Forecasting, the tropical depression was some 400 kilometres from the central region of the Philippine coast by 7 am on November 20.
By 7 am on November 21, the depression developed into a typhoon with the eye in the central region of the Philippines with the wind speed of 60-75 kilometres per hour.
In the next 24-73 hours, the storm would affect the East Sea. By 7 am on November 23, it would be 250 kilometres to the east of Vietnam’s south-central coast with the wind speed of 75-100 kilometres per hour.
Spratly Islands area may also be affected by the typhoon.
Typhoon Toraji has ravaged the south-central region with Nha Trang City in Khanh Hoa Province being hardest hit. To date, Nha Trang City has seen 18 deaths caused by the storm./.
