At the meeting, both sides positively assessed the results of their cooperation in recent times in introducing Viet Nam, its people and culture to the Hungarian public, thereby contributing to greater mutual understanding, closer ties and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

Ambassador of Viet Nam to Hungary Bui Le Thai highly appreciated the enthusiasm, dedication and positive contributions of the Hungarian-Vietnamese Cultural Association in organizing cultural exchange activities and connecting Hungarian friends who love Viet Nam, helping bring the image of the country, its people and culture closer to local residents.

The two sides also discussed several activities planned for joint implementation through the end of 2026, with a focus on promoting Vietnamese culture, history, arts, cuisine and tourism, as well as enhancing people-to-people exchanges. These efforts will further promote the role of culture and tourism as important bridges in the traditional friendship and Comprehensive Partnership between Viet Nam and Hungary.

On the occasion, the participating delegates enjoyed a number of distinctive performances featuring the rich cultural identity of Hungary, including folk dances, and sampled several traditional Hungarian dishes.
