At about 250km by car from Ho Chi Minh, Ta Nang Phan Dung is one of the most beautiful trekking trails in Vietnam, with landscape transitting from highland to central coastal plateau. The typical scenery here includes pine forest, green meadows spreading over hills, and tiltled trails filled with basalt soil. Despite offering amazing landscapes, the trek is still a hidden gem and only known by some local adventure seekers.
The route is approximately 55 kilometers stretching over 3 provinces: from Ta Nang District of Lam Dong, through Ninh Thuan, to Phan Dung District of Binh Thuan. You will walk on high terrain, hills after hills, with the highest up to 1,100 meters above sea level and 500 meters at the lowest. What’s more attractive than a beautiful challenge?
There are manytrails in Ta Nang and Phan Dung, in which, two popular routes for those who love to experience are Soldier Hill (2 days 1 night) with an average distance of 35km and Yavly waterfall route (3 days 2 nights) with an average total length of 45km

If you love green field, treking in raining season from August to February is the best option. If not you may have a chance to view impressive scenery with burnt grass in dry season from March to June.
