Ten Vietnamese Swimmers to compete at World Championship in Japan

The Vietnam swimming team currently has 11 qualified athletes to participate in the tournament, including Nguyen Huy Hoang, Pham Thanh Bao, Tran Hung Nguyen, Hoang Quy Phuoc, Nguyen Huu Kim Son, Nguyen Quang Thuan, Mai Tran Tuan Anh, Ho Nguyen Duy Khoa, Do Ngoc Vinh, Luong Jeremie Loic Nino and Vo Thi My Tien.
However, Vietnam's No.1 swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang will not attend the event because he is in specialized training in Hungary to prepare for ASIAD 19 in Hangzhou (China) in September this year.
All the athletes have met the criteria to qualify for the world championships in Japan according to the regulations of the International Swimming Federation (FINA).

The tournament is considered a big test for young talented swimmers such as Nguyen Quang Thuan, Mai Tran Tuan Anh, Ho Nguyen Duy Khoa, Do Ngoc Vinh, Luong Jeremie Loic Nino, along with familiar names like Pham Thanh Bao, Tran Hung Nguyen, Hoang Quy Phuoc, and Kim Son.
The World Aquatics Championships, the 20th edition of its kind, is taking place in Fukuoka, Japan, from July 14 to 30.
A total of 75 medal events will be held across six disciplines. The program returns to the traditional schedule with artistic swimming, diving, open water swimming, and water polo all competing in the first week while swimming and high diving get underway the following week.
