	People-to-People Diplomacy in Can Tho 2025: Mobilizing Global Resources for Growth

At the conference, Vice President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Dong Huy Cuong presented a number of thematic sessions on the world, regional and Viet Nam political, economic and security situation; Vietnam’s relations with several countries in the current period; the content of people-to-people diplomacy in the new context; people-to-people diplomacy in bilateral external relations through friendship associations; exchanges and sharing of lessons learned in organizing people-to-people diplomacy activities; and external information work in the new situation.

Through the training conference on people-to-people diplomacy, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations aims to equip officials in charge of external affairs at agencies and units with essential knowledge, information and diplomatic skills, enabling them to better perform advisory roles and effectively implement people-to-people diplomacy at their localities, agencies and units in accordance with the regulations of the Party and the State.

These contents have contributed to further equipping knowledge and enhancing the practical capacity of personnel engaged in people-to-people diplomacy at all levels, meeting the increasingly demanding task requirements in the context of globalization and deep international integration at present.
