Managers, officers, and safe swimming teachers of project implementing units are professionally trained in their capacity to manage, implement programs, evaluate, and communicate about child drowning prevention.
The project aims to provide at least 2,400 children aged 6-15 in the area with safe swimming lessons according to current regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs.
The city and district levels regularly monitor swimming teaching activities for children at the commune level. The project's total value is 96,485 USD (more than 2.3 billion VND), provided by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids as a non-refundable aid.
The People's Committees of the four districts: Quoc Oai, Dong Anh, My Duc, and Ba Vi are responsible for coordinating and implementing project activities for the right subjects, according to legal regulations, and not affecting political security and social order and safety in the area during the process.
This is an opportunity for 4 districts in Hanoi to implement better the work of popularizing swimming and preventing drowning accidents for children.
